The Halifax Academy Cross Country teams competed in New Bern at Epiphany School in an eight team meet on Tuesday.

The HA Girls were led by Morgan Hudomint who won the race posting a time of 22:08 on this humid afternoon. Other top finishers for the girls were Abby Fleming, Amber Markham, Kate Forsht, and Chloe Alston.

The HA Boys were led by Thomas Garrett with a 4th place overall finish.   Rounding out the scoring were Wesley Boerner, Davis Grant, Finn Grimes, and Watkins Crew.

The Halifax Academy Girls placed 3rd as a team while the HA Boys  placed 5th.

The Vikings fared well in this competitive race with some runners setting their personal records.
