The Roanoke Rapids High school Cross-Country Lady Jackets wrap up thier 2021-22 season at States.

The Lady Jackets Cross Country Team traveled to Kernersville, NC over the weekend to compete in the NCHSAA CROSS COUNTRY STATE CHAMPIONSHIP.
The prior weekend the Lady Jackets brought home runner up at the Regional Meet which guaranteed them a starting spot at the State Meet..

This was the second year in a row the Lady Jackets have competed for a State Championship as a complete Team.

The Lady Jackets finished #10 in the State with a Team Score of 249 and Freshman Runner Savanna Medlin finished 32nd out of 133 Runners with a time of 21:37 and was she was also named to the All Region Team.
Jackets head coach Aubrey Coker stated, " I would like to congratulate these young ladies on their accomplishments throughout the season and representing Roanoke Rapids High School at the State Title Meet.
