The Halifax Academy Cross Country teams have fared well over the 2018 season.

After running meets the past few weeks in Wilson, New Bern, Greenville, and at home, the Halifax Academy Vikings competed in Henderson NC at Kerr Vance Academy this past Tuesday September 18th.

The Viking boys finished 3rd overall and the Lady Vikings girls took 2nd place honors.

Pacing the boys were Thomas Garrett, Kris Carter, Jacob Harris, Ted Fleming, Wesley Boerner, and Ben Keeter.

The girls were led by Morgan Hudomint, Chloe Alston, and Amber Markham. All runners demonstrated good effort on a tough course and finished strong.
