Weldon seeks help in attempted store B&E Weldon Police Department

The Weldon Police Department is investigating the attempted breaking and entering of Weldon Supermarket on Washington Avenue.

Lieutenant Chris Davis said in a statement entry was never gained but the front door of the business was damaged with what appeared to be a cinderblock.
Officers A. Burgess and N. Coles responded to the store in the 300 block of Washington Avenue shortly before 9:15 p.m. on March 23.
The person pictured in the above photo left before the officers arrived.
