Warrants have been filed for the arrest of a Weldon woman who allegedly broke into a grocery store on Washington Avenue Wednesday night.

Surveillance video shows a woman breaking the front glass door of the Weldon Supermarket and then entering the store.

She heads to the cigarette display at a counter and steals about nine packs of Cherokee and Fortune cigarettes before exiting the store and briefly stumbling onto the sidewalk.

Captain James Avens of the Weldon Police Department said warrants have been taken out for the arrest of 50-year-old Tina Marie Webb for breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.

Webb has a lengthy criminal record and was most recently released from prison last September.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call the police department at 252-536-3136 or Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.
