The U10 Roanoke Rapids baseball All-stars traveled back to Pinetops Saturday to face the Holly Springs East All Stars in the Winner's bracket.  

The RR All Stars started a little slow at the plate but heated up to pull out an 11-2 win and move on to face the Outer Banks All Stars on Sunday.

Wade Jenkins and Zach Elder got things going for the RR All Stars in the second inning getting a triple and single respectively. Elder and Russell Moore each had 2 hits and AJ Strickland and Jenkins getting one each.  Elder and Jenkins each scored twice.

Strickland and Moore each turned in stellar performances on the mound, combining to allow only 6 hits and striking out 6.
