Coming back through loser bracket to championship.

The Roanoke Valley U10 girls softball All-star team pulled off a win 13-3 over Camden today which moved them into the Championship game tomorrow (Sunday) at 1 pm against Dare County in the "Area Tournament".

On the mound this time was Lily Curtis again with phenomenal 15 strikeouts and with two outs an out of the park grand slam home-run.

Hanging tough behind the plate was Gracie Mason with strong catching performance.

At the plate for RVGSL was Logan Storey 4-4 with a double and a single, Ashlyn Cooke 4-4, Morgan Hudomint 4-4, Ella Howell 3-4, and Susannah Odom, Brooke Ott, and Lily Curtis all going 2-4.

"I am so proud of how well we have ALL played together as a team and pulled together supporting each other in any situation. I Love these girls. We return tomorrow to have a much desired rematch with Dare County for the Championship. Both teams are excited about the rematch and it should be a nail biter as both teams are well matched," stated head coach Jen Ott.
