The break-in was reported in the 900 block of Franklin Street around 11 p.m.
The victim told Officer Joey Spragins they came home to find someone entered the residence and took their TV.
Investigator B.L. Martin received information Saturday on the possible location of the set, which he and Lieutenant C.L. Vaught recovered.
Martin charged Mark Antonio Fields, 23, of Roanoke Rapids, with possession of stolen goods and served him a warrant for breaking, entering and larceny.
He was jailed on $31,500 bond and given an August 19 court date.
Meanwhile, Martin obtained warrants for the brother of Mark Fields, 17-year-old Trevon Quantavius Fields, for breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.
Trevon Fields, who was arrested at his residence after Officer Jamie Hardy located him, was given a $10,000 bond and August 19 court date.
