Tah'Naijah Moore was born 8 a.m. on New Year's Day at the Birthing Center of Halifax Regional.

The daughter of Erin Hipp and Harry Moore of Garysburg, the child came into the world at 7 pounds and 20.5 inches.

Pictured with the parents in the group shot are, from left, Birthing Center staff Cassie Modlin, April Clay and doctors Thomas McDonald and Sandeep Tiwari.

The Birthing Center presented the parents gift bags from its staff, the hospital and DrugCo.
