Bryan Christopher Buffaloe, 24, faces charges of felony possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana.

Halifax County Wes Tripp said in a statement the stop by Deputy D. Epperson occurred shortly after midnight.

Further investigation by Epperson and Sergeant Matt Brown led to the discovery of marijuana and a digital scale.

Buffaloe posted $1,000 bond pending a March 30 court date.
