HP continues probe of fatal hit and run

The state Highway Patrol continues to investigate a fatal hit and run which occurred Saturday in the Faulcon Road area of Littleton.

Trooper C. Gall said this afternoon Jameill Harvey, 27, was walking in the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle which struck Harvey fled the scene.
Gall estimated the time of the crash to be between 3:35 a.m. and 5:46 a.m.
Harvey had placed two calls on his phone, one at 3:28 a.m. and the other at 3:35 a.m. The first 911 call came in around 5:46 a.m.
Harvey lived on Faulcon Road and the crash site is about a half-mile from Justice Branch Road.
Sergeant R. W. Goswick said anyone with information is encouraged to call the state Highway Patrol at 252-536-2224 or Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.
