Rachel was born December 23, 1937 in Halifax County to the late Sam F. Keeter and Mary Green. She was also preceded in death by her husband, W. B. Hux.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 31, 2016 at Rosemary Baptist Church with Dr. Layne Wallace and Rev. Randy Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service and other times at the home.
