Doug was proceeded in death by his father Douglas Franklin Jr, his special “mama” and grandmother Carolyn Mitchell, and his grandfather’s William H. Mitchell II, and Douglas H. Franklin.
Doug is survived by his children Cameron, Kaitlyn, and Kayleigh Franklin, his mother Kandy Dwedari, his grandmother Joyce Bacot, his brothers William C. Allen, James R. Allen and special brother Michael P. Mitchell, his special aunt Mary S. Mitchell, and his uncles William H. Mitchell III, Sandy R. Mitchell, and Frankie Franklin.
Doug gained his angel wings in his home in Garner, NC on December 7th, 2017.
