Jaxson was born in Halifax County on December 23, 2015, the son of Henry Eugene “Jocko” Clay, Jr. and Brittany Nichole Labonte.
He was a kind and loving child that everyone loved.
Survivors include his parents; siblings, Liam, Brooklyn and Jade; grandparents, Becky Clay, Henry Clay, Angel Nelson and Robert Nelson; great-grandparents, Clifford Clay and Charlotte Powell; uncles and aunt, Patrick Hammack, Victoria Labonte and Jacob Nelson.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Wednesday at Hockaday Funeral Home. The service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral Home at 1:00 pm Thursday, with Pastor Billy Howell presiding.
