Task force roundup: Wanted person; Hollister arrests

The City County Drug Task Force reported the following, according to Captain A.M. Harris:

RichardsonTomarkus Deshawn

Tomarkus Richardson, 22, of the Hollister area, is wanted.

During the past week, on two different days, Richardson reportedly sold marijuana to two different agents at a convenience store in the area of Highway 561 and Mills Road in Hollister.

Richardson has outstanding warrants for maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for a controlled substance and two counts each for possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, sell marijuana and deliver marijuana.

The investigations were conducted by agents C.A. Parker, D.J. Epperson, D.W. McKeel and D.R. Radford.

Agents encourage Richardson to surrender to law enforcement.  

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to call Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444 or Halifax County Central Communications non-emergency at 252 583-1991.

 

On Thursday shortly before 5:30 p.m., agents, the patrol and investigative divisions of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 400 block of Mills Road in the Hollister area.  

Sheriff’s office patrol Lieutenant John Bozard submitted an intelligence report to the task force about this residence.   

Agents of the task force followed up on the complaint which resulted in a search warrant.

During the search of the residence agents seized approximately 114 grams of marijuana and several items of marijuana paraphernalia. Street value of the seized marijuana is approximately $570.

McKeel arrested and charged Leigh Ann Freeman, 30, and Raymon Dontae Evans, 29, both of the residence, for possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.

Freeman and Evans received $1,500 bonds and June 6 court dates.
