He was born in Nash County in 1990 and was preceded in death by his Mother, Mary Dunning Shearin, his paternal Grandfather, Winfield Shearin and his maternal grandparents, William J. Dunning and Mary Antoinette Stephenson Dunning.

Stephen was a devoted Christian and a member of Enterprise Baptist Church. He was a 2008 graduate of Halifax Academy, an avid sports fan and loved NC State, Jeff Gordon and the Dallas Cowboys.

Stephen is survived by his father, Craig Shearin and his wife Kim; his sister, Kimi of the home; his paternal grandmother, Sylvia Stover of Littleton, NC, his maternal grandparents, Don and Carol Moseley of Roanoke Rapids; several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and his Canine Companion, Cotton.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 12 Noon at Enterprise Baptist Church with Rev. Darrin Lambert officiating.

Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church on Thursday, July 5, 2018.
