Kee, Nelson returned to Wake County

The Raleigh News and Observer reported today that Dudley Lamar Kee and James Keith Nelson were ordered to be held without the opportunity for bond in a February 18 murder in a parking lot on South Saunders Street.

The men were being held in Virginia where they were apprehended five days later withhelp from the Roanoke Rapids Police Department. Both men are from Roanoke Rapids and were suspected of being heavily involved in the local drug trade, police told rrspin.com in a recent interview.

The men are charged in the murder of 26-year-old Rashad Owens just before midnight on that Tuesday.
