Windsor man sought in Tillery break-in

The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate a Windsor man who is wanted for charges related to a breaking and entering in the Tillery area.

Detective Obert Wiltsie said Tarris Wilkins, 37, has ties to the Scotland Neck area.

He has warrants on Wilkins associated with the Tillery break-in that include charges of breaking and entering, larceny, possession of stolen goods, and obtaining property by false pretense.

The obtaining property charge stems from him allegedly selling goods stolen from the break-in.
