Man on probation charged in Halifax B&E

A Scotland Neck man already in jail for a probation violation was served a warrant today for a breaking and entering in Halifax that occurred late last month.

Halifax County Sheriff's Office Detective Obert Wiltsie, who assisted Detective Chris Scott in the investigation, said Tyrell Buffaloe was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.

The investigation is ongoing and more charges may be pending.

Buffaloe was in jail on $75,000 bond when he was served the warrants today. The new charges increased his bond by another $75,000 for a total of $150,000.

He has an August 20 court date.
