The State Bureau of Investigation has determined a fire at 206 Robinson Drive Sunday appears to have been caused by firing wiring.

“All indications are it was not intentionally set,” Halifax County Sheriff Wes Tripp said, adding, “We appreciate the assistance of the Davie Volunteer Fire Department.”

Davie Chief David Padgett said faulty wiring could account for three other fires at the house since November, but would not offer a firm opinion on the matter.

The SBI probe focused on Sunday's fire.
