Man sought for possessing weapon as felon

A Roanoke Rapids man who reportedly sold a firearm to an area pawn shop is wanted by the Halifax County Sheriff's Office for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Detective Willie Murphy Jr. said an investigation into the case stemmed Crashawn Montray Vincent, 28, reportedly selling the weapon.

Vincent is known to frequent the Roanoke Rapids and Littleton areas.
