Teddy Anderson Jr., wanted in the August murder of Keyuon Garner, has waived extradition, Halifax County Sheriff Wes Tripp said this morning.

Waiving extradition means he has agreed to come back to Halifax County and face the charges lodged against him without the need of a governor's warrant, Tripp said.

Federal marshals are arranging his transportation back to Halifax County from the Nassau County Correctional Center where he is currently being held.

Anderson was captured in the hamlet of Roosevelt, New York, on Long Island where he was arrested by marshals.

The 18-year-old Anderson faces one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder in the shooting death of 15-year-old Garner and the shootings of Wilson Green and Calvin Robinson on August 4 in South Weldon.
