Griffin was honored for exemplary leadership and dedication for the advancement of the quality of life for low-income North Carolinians. The Hall of Fame celebrates the accomplishments of individuals who have given unselfishly of their time or resources to promote the mission of community action.
This recognition is given to the individuals who have made a significant positive impact or contribution to families, agencies and communities through their involvement and commitment to help people and change lives. NCCAA Hall Inductees must be nominated to the Hall of Fame by its local board of directors.
Nominations are then presented to the Association’s Council of Executive Directors for consideration and then to the NCCAA Board of Directors. Inductees are recognized in these categories: champions, board of directors, executive directors and staff.
Griffin was recognized as a board of directors recipient of the Choanoke Area Development Association.
