Roanoke Rapids Public Library will host the program A Trailblazer for Justice: The Story of Sarah Keys Evans in the library conference room on February 15 at 12:30 p.m.  

This program will include a presentation of a video produced by the Sarah Keys Evans Project Team that reveals an interview with Evans in the spring of 2019 and retells her story of refusing to move to the back of an interstate bus in Roanoke Rapids on August 2, 1952.  

Following the viewing, there will be a discussion and a question and answer session.  

This program is free to the public and no reservations are required to attend.
