The City Council will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. in the Lloyd Andrews City Meeting Hall, 700 Jackson Street, Roanoke Rapids, NC. The purpose of the meeting is to consider an offer to purchase for the Roanoke Rapids Theatre.

A copy of the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2023 - 2024 for the City of Roanoke Rapids has been presented to the Roanoke Rapids City Council and is available in the City Clerk’s Office for public inspection. A public hearing will be held by the City Council at their Regular Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. in the Lloyd Andrews City Meeting Hall. Citizens are invited to make written or oral comments.

MUNICIPAL OFFICES CLOSED/TRASH COLLECTION:  Municipal Offices will be closed on Monday, May 29th in observance of Memorial Day.  Monday’s trash route will be collected on Wednesday, May 31st.
