Man faces child sex offense counts

A Roanoke Rapids man faces a March 21 first appearance in district court after child sex offense charges were lodged against him.

Both the city and the potential buyers of the Roanoke Rapids Theater wanted to fix a date for the end of the due diligence period which could lead to the sale of the venue, City Attorney Gilbert Chichester said today.
