April is County Government Month, and Halifax County looks forward each year to marking the month with the Halifax County Board of Commissioners, our amazing county employees, and YOU, Halifax County’s citizens.

Members of the Halifax County Board of Elections will meet on Tuesday, April 1 at 1:00 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners Meeting Room located on the 2nd floor of the Old Historic Courthouse.
AgWRAP cost share funds are currently available in Halifax County for practices such as water supply wells for irrigation or livestock and agricultural water storage systems.
