Halifax County is pleased to join with Northampton County and more than 40 other vendors for the Halifax/Northampton Behavioral Health Resource Stakeholder event on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the American Legion, 717 American Legion Road, Roanoke Rapids.

Representatives with Trillium Health Resources, Halifax County Public Health System, Halifax County Substance Use Coalition, Rural Health Group, and the Halifax County North Carolina Judicial Branch came together to plan this important, first-time event to bring vital community resources together to support one another in service to the community to help achieve better behavioral health together.

A significant component of behavioral health is the challenges of substance use, including opioid use disorder, and addiction. 

Halifax County is pleased to take part in this event to gather input from stakeholders and others based on their experiences on funding priorities for the expenditure of opioid settlement funds.
