The Halifax County Board of Elections will conduct its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday July 14, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners Meeting Room located on the 2nd floor of the Old Historic Courthouse at 10 N King St, Halifax NC 27839. 

The purpose of the meeting is to conduct a preliminary hearing based on a voter challenge due to list maintenance. The board will also discuss and adopt the 2026 General Election Early Voting Plan. 

The meeting is open to the public.
