Description: Halifax County has an opening for a Scale Operator at the Halifax County Solid Waste Facility located at 921 Liles Rd, Littleton. Primary duties involve obtaining information from customers as they arrive on-site, operating the scale to weigh vehicles in and out of the facility to obtain a weight for the material delivered for disposal, and input of data into a computer for billing and accounting.
