The Halifax County Board of Elections will meet on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Room located upstairs of the Historic Courthouse in Halifax. 

The purpose of this meeting is to conduct a recount for the Kirkwood Adams Community Center. In addition, the board will approve late absentee by mail ballots, approve provisional ballots, and conduct a sample hand to eye audit for the Butterwood (Aurelian Springs School) and Ringwood (Enfield Fire Substation) precincts. 

The board will also meet on Friday, November 18 at 11:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Room at the Historic Courthouse to certify the 2022 General Election that was held on Tuesday, November 8.
