The Halifax County Library System will be holding open houses at each of its five branches. They started today at the main branch in Halifax which will run through 6 this evening and continue through October 5.

The remaining schedules are as follows:
Thursday, September 14 at the Scotland Neck Memorial Library from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, September 21 at the W. C. “Billy” Jones Jr. Memorial Library in Littleton from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday, September 28 at the Weldon Memorial Library from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday, October 5 at the Lilly Pike Sullivan Memorial Library in Enfield from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Refreshments will be served and each branch will raffle off prizes.
