Pursuant to N.C.G.S. §143-318.12(b) public notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Halifax County Board of Commissioners will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023, at 5:00 p.m., in the Commissioners Board Room on the second floor of the Halifax County Historic Courthouse, 10 North King Street, Halifax, North Carolina.

The purpose of this meeting is to consider a resolution entitled "Resolution in Support of the Efforts of the City of Roanoke Rapids to Secure Casino and Gaming Operations in the Carolina Crossroads Entertainment District."
