Halifax County Public Utilities today began annual maintenance of the Edwards Fork water tower in the Scotland Neck area.

This includes internal inspection of the tower.

During this time of inspection and repair the water tower may be out of service for up to four weeks.  

Water customers in that portion of the system should expect lower than normal pressures during this time period.  

There are no planned service disruptions or outages anticipated with these maintenance activities.
