Greenville bases Heart breakers U-12 travel softball team traveled to Smithfield for the "Relay for Life" tournament. Roanoke Rapids residents Abbi Carpenter and Candice Smith play for the Hearbreakers. The team had a weekend record of 6 wins and 1 lost. Winning the championship. Abbi was given the championship trophy for her hard hits for the weekend.
