"Double Down Weekend" May 3rd And May 4th
Clary's Speedway will have it's first "Double Down Weekend" Friday May 3rd and Saturday May 4th. Both nights will include full race programs for Late Model, Open Wheel Modified, Limited Sportsman, Super Street, Pure Stock, Super Stock 4, Pure Stock 4, and UCAR divisions. The full purse payout will be paid out each night. Admission each night will be $15 for adults, $10 for ages 10 - 15, and ages 9 and under free with a paying adult in the grandstands. Pit admission will be $25 for adults, $10 for ages 10 - 15, and 9 and under free with a paying adult.
On Friday May 3rd gates open at 5 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:30 PM. Practice, qualifying, heat races, and features to follow.
On Saturday May 4th gates open at 4 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 5:30 PM. Practice, qualifying, heat races, and features to follow.
Laps for feature events each night will be: Late Model (30 Laps), Open Wheel Modified (20 Laps), Limited Sportsman (20 Laps), Super Street (20 Laps), Pure Stock (15 Laps), Super Stock 4 (15 Laps), Pure Stock 4 (15 Laps), and UCAR (15 Laps).
Clary's Speedway will have bonus money for drivers in each division in which win both nights.
Overnight camping and tailgating is encouraged and welcomed at no charge. There is room for camping on the grounds for RV's, travel trailers, and tents. Spaces are all first come first served. All camping is self contained. Clary's has no hookups. Food vendors and restroom facilities will be available around the clock for everyone during the "Double Down Weekend" events. On Saturday, many family activities are planned and live entertainment is in the works leading up to the evenings exciting racing program! The Waffle House of Roanoke Rapids, NC. and Weldon, NC. will be having a buffet breakfast at the Speedway on Saturday morning May 4th.
