Ronoke Rapids soccer stomps North Johnston on Senior night

Roanoke Rapids Soccer beat North Johnston 9-0 in only the first half of play. The new NCHSAA rule the game ends at half-time if one team is up by 9 or more.

Goals were scored by Kayla Miller with five (time-32:44, 31:12, 29:41, 17:55, 15:03) and Veronica Edmonds with four (time-34:31, 18:21, 17:14, 10:47).

Roanoke Rapids win clitches them atleast a share of the Northern Carolina Conference Championship, but travel to Corinth Holders Thursday night to decide. If they win they are sole Conference champs if the lose they are co-champs with Corinth Holders.
