Yankess got a big win to stay in first place over the Braves in Senior League play Wednesday night at Ledgerwood park. The Yankees got a team high 18 hits. Smokin' Sammy Rose was the top hitter for the Yankees going 4-4. Aaron Jackson, Bracy Irby went 2-3. Jarrett Williamson & Joshua Elias were 2-4. Other hits were Matthew Wray, Ryan Hockaday, Rob Poythress, Eric Hockaday, and Dylan Turner. Williamson got the start on the hill going up 5 runs on 2 hits and 2 walks while striking out 2. Tyler Warren relieved giving up 1 run , no hits on 1 walk striking out 2. Rose came in for his first appearance pitching walking 1 and striking out 1. Hunter Whitmire, Caleb Alston, and Brandon Moody got the Braves 3 hits. Zachary Connell and Tommy Bradley each drew two base on balls. Hunter Connell reached on a walk and Jacob Rooker got on by a hit pitch.
