RV U12 All-stars lost but will still play in ENC State Cal Ripken Tournament

RV  U12 baseball All Stars traveled to Ahoskie to meet Cashie in the Championship game on Sunday.   RV U12 had to win 2 games to come home with the Championship.  

Cameron Medlin took the mount for Game 1 and pitched 6 innings giving up 1 earned run.    He gave up 3 hits and struck out 4 while walking 3.   

RV U12 had only 4 hits for the game with Carson Neal, Cameron Wilson, Jarrett Yarboro, and Cameron Salmon having 1 each.    RV U12 could not bring a run across the plate,  therefore coming in second place in the District Tournament. 

Final Score Cashie 3 and RV U12 0. 

Their season is not over, with the Roanoke Valley hosting the 2013 ENC U12 Cal Ripken State Tournament, the team get an invite and will play this week. The tournament begins Thursday at Legerwood Park in Roanoke Rapids.
