In a rematch of Friday’s contest, the Southern Vance Raiders sought to get revenge for the loss they were handed.

The Raiders, which won the contest Tuesday night, 49-42, attacked the Panther’s defense from the jump, getting early, easy buckets in the paint.

The Raiders got off to an early lead, and was able to hold it to pull out a victory.

The early lead set the tone for the first quarter, which was controlled by the Raiders, which only allowed four points in the first quarter.

After the first half, they only allowed a total of eleven points from KIPP.

In the second half, KIPP began to make a push to come back into the game.

The Raiders were tested as KIPP cut into the lead several times, getting closer and closer.

The backcourt play of Al-Kabir Williams enabled his team to stay calm through the storm, as they pulled out the tough win down the stretch.

For the Panthers, they found trouble as fouls plagued them early. Jordan Sheppard, Jerry Royster and Moses Khedi all found themselves in foul trouble.

With these players virtually out of the game, other players had to step up to keep KIPP in the game. Christian Newell came up with big steals, assists, and points as KIPP attempted to cut their deficit.

An emphatic block by Jaylin Pierce sparked a run for the Panthers as they got to within three points with a minute left to play in the ball game.

However, late turnovers and missed shots by the Panthers helped to propel the Raiders to their victory.
