Both the Roanoke Rapids Softball and baseball 1st round in the NCHSAA State play-offs will be broadcasted on local radio with play by play from Gaddis Hodges.

Tuesday May 10th

#19 seed Roanoke Rapids 14-6 Will travel to #14 seed Edenton Holmes 15-7 Tuesday at 6PM in the NCHSAA 1st round and will be on WSMY/AM 1400 at 5:45PM

Wednesday May 11th

#9 seed Roanoke Rapids 17-4 Will host #24 seed St. Pauls 13-9 Wednesday in the NCHSAA 1st round and will be on WPTM 102.3 at 5:15 PM will senior special and play by play at 5:45PM.
