The 2016-17 NCHSAA football season kicked off Monday August 1st with the first official day of High School football practice allowed.

The Roanoke Rapids football team kick off with a scrimmage against JF Webb Friday August 12th home at 6PM at Hoyle Field and open their 2016-17 season at home Friday August 19th against Northampton County Jaguars.
