The Roanoke Rapids High Lady Yellow Jackets soccer team continued their winning on the road Thursday at South Granville.

Roanoke Rapids beat South Granville 2-0.

Catherine MacNichol scored both goals for the Yellow Jackets and Brianna Woolard had one assist.

Elena Miller had 7 saves in the goal for the jackets. 

Post match comments from Jackets head coach Craig Jean, "This was a big road win at a place that we have struggled at in the past.  We didn't play our best in first half. MacNichol had 2 great finishes to put us up 2, her second goal came with 3 seconds left in the half and was a big boost for us. Our 2nd half was much better, we made better decisions and controlled the game. Our toughness was on display for sure. We had some violent collisions that we shook off like nothing happened. I am very proud of this win."
