The Roanoke Rapids High Lady Yellow Jackets softball team fell at home Friday night to Louisburg 13-2 in five innings.

It was another tough night at the plate for the Yellow Jackets and the mound for the Lady Yellow Jackets.

The jackets could only pull out a couple of hits. Abbi Carpenter had an RBI double and Camden Bierbauer had a single. Kaitlin Rogerson had two base on balls, Lily Curtis had one base on balls, Lizzy Colston had one base on balls and Hannah Taylor was HBP to reach the base.

Meagan Colston started the game pitching for the Jackets giving up three singles, one walk, and one Hit Batter. Camden Bierbauer pitched giving up a double, two solo home runs, and two walks. Lily Curtis pitched with 3Ks, 3 doubles, 3 singles, 2BBs, and 1 hit batter.

The Lady Yellow Jackets host Bertie County High School Monday.
