The Halifax Academy Lady Vikings softball team came out on top of Wednesday's battle of the Vikings at Brunswick Academy Vikings.

Halifax kept their winning streak alive improving to 12-1 by beating Brunswick 14-6.

At the plate for Halifax, Ashton Garner  had two triples, one single and one RBI;  Candice Smith had a double, two singles and four;  Sydney Smith had three singles and one RBI;  Ella Howell had three singles and one RBI;  Margaret Hudson had two singles and one RBI;  Ashlynn Liles had a single and three RBI's;  Morgan Hudomint had a single with one RBI;  Emerson Poole had a single with one RBI;  Ashlyn Cooke with a single and one RBI.

Candice Smith pitched the seven innings for Halifax with four strike-outs.
