ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon swept its season series with the Lynchburg Hornets with a 61-49 victory Tuesday night in Old Dominion Athletic Conference action at Crenshaw Gymnasium. A pair of Yellow Jackets were in double figures and R-MC outrebounded the Hornets 39-31.
The Chaloner Middle School basketball teams continued their winning Tuesday afternoon at Gaston Middle and host their last home game of the season Wednesday February 14th.

ASHLAND, Va. – Sophomore Kelly Williams (Garysburg, N.C./Halifax Academy) picked another pair of honors – this time on a national scale. Williams was named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Division III National Player of the Week for the third time this season. She was also named to the d3hoops.com Team of the Week as a forward.
Chaloner Middle hosted Gaston Middle at the Jr. Hive Monday afternoon and both girls and boys basketball teams remain undefeated at 13-0.
