Halifax Community College is welcoming the arrival of the holiday season with a free musical performance by a traveling American military band for the Roanoke Valley community.

The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band will play on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. in the Dr. Ervin V. Griffin, Sr Centre. 

The Hope for the Holidays concert is a free, ticketed event that is open to the public. Online tickets are available via Eventbrite

During business hours, free tickets are available at community partner outlets, including the Halifax County Convention & Visitors Bureau or the Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce as well as the Griffin Centre box office or the reception desk in Building 100 on the HCC campus.

“The Heritage of America Band has represented the United States Air Force with musical and military distinction for more than 75 years,” said HCC President Michael Elam. “Don’t miss this festive opportunity.”
