A Roanoke Rapids area man has been charged with larceny of metal following an investigation by a Halifax County Sheriff’s Office deputy.
The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on a shooting that occurred Monday in the 1000 block of Washington Avenue in Weldon.
The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery which occurred this morning around 12:30.
Jayquan Termaine Cotton hugged his mother after she asked officers for permission to do so. He was then escorted to a patrol car and taken to Halifax where he was jailed without the opportunity for bond following a Saturday night murder in Roanoke Rapids.
