There was plenty of activity today, the first day of the city’s ownership of the Roanoke Rapids Theatre since winning an injunction Tuesday in Halifax County Civil Court.
Emergency management personnel continued their search today for a missing 24-year-old man from Raleigh who is presumed drowned in Lake Gaston.
The Roanoke Rapids Theater will be in the city’s control Wednesday.
