Roanoke Rapids police are investigating a robbery that occurred at the 10th Street First Citizens.
Chief Jeff Hinton said the suspect is a black male wearing all black.
The man entered the bank with a silver handgun and demanded money. He was give an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot. He was last seen running west on Drake Street heading to Georgia Avenue. “We put up a dragnet in the area,” Hinton said.
